Impact Media, a growing digital marketing agency based in Montreal, QC, is looking for an experienced Media Buyer with a strong focus on Google & Meta Ads to join our team. You'll be responsible for building and managing high-performance paid media campaigns, driving results for various brands across multiple industries.


We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of paid media strategy, analyze data to uncover opportunities, and bring proactive solutions to the table. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team and clients to drive campaign success and support overall business growth.

This is not an entry level position. Training will be provided for general software and processes of Impact Media but candidates should have previous experience managing paid client accounts.

  • • Develop, implement, and manage advanced Google Ads strategies across Search, Display, Video (YouTube), and Performance Max.

    • Develop, implement, and manage advanced Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns for client success.

    • Build creative testing roadmaps — develop angles, write briefs for editors, analyze what's working

    • Analyze client brands, goals, and user personas to design campaigns that convert.

    • Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting strategies.

    • Set up, monitor, and continuously optimize campaign performance for ROAS and lead generation goals.

    • Use tools such as Google Ads Manager, Looker Studio, Supermetrics, and Google Analytics to track and report performance.

    • Write effective ad copy and suggest creative directions for display and video ads.

    • Build detailed campaign schedules and roadmaps from onboarding to ongoing management.

    • Deliver clear, actionable reports to clients with performance insights and next-step recommendations.

    • Stay updated on changes in ad platforms, privacy laws, and digital marketing trends.

    • Collaborate closely with team members on cross-channel marketing strategies.

  • 40 Hours Per Week with Three Month Trial Period

    This role is aimed to be filled by June 1st 2026

  • Located in Montreal, Quebec. 

    Hybrid work - mostly remote

    Fixed term contract (Independent contractor agreement - not employment)

  • • 3+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns (required)

    • 3+ years of experience managing Meta/Facebook Ads (required)

    • 2+ years working directly with clients in an agency or consulting setting

    • Strong understanding of PPC strategy, bidding models, and account architecture

    • Strong understanding of the creative process as well as the systematic iteration/testing of creatives

    • Proven ability to manage ad spend efficiently across multiple campaigns and clients

    • Comfortable with Google Analytics, reporting dashboards, and budget pacing

    Bonus: Experience with other ad platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest) is a plus

  •  $70,000 - 80,000 (CAD) based on experience.
